a port of Jakarta Lucene 1.2 to Python. Specifically, it reads and writes
indexes in Lucene binary format. Like Lucene, it is sophisticated and
scalable. Lucene is a polished and mature project and you are encouraged to
read the documentation found at the Lucene home page.
many other pieces of software available for web filtering in that it is
designed to filter web content. That, however, is where the similarities
end. The differences between Willow and other solutions are significant, and
these differences make Willow the first really usable internet filter.
In addition to being the first web filter to really work, Willow was also
designed to make life easy on network administrators. To this end Willow
supports the following:
* HTTPS tunneling
* response caching
* filtering based on any part of the request or response (domain, url,
headers, etc.)
* through-the-web management
* authentication to a Windows NT/2000 domain
* authentication through unix password files
GRAMPS (Genealogical Research and Analysis Management Programming System)
is a personal genealogy program. It provides a graphical interface for
recording genealogical research.
GRAMPS can import GEDCOM format and export to GEDCOM and Web Family Tree.
It can generate book reports, ancestor charts, relationship graphs, timelines,
Ahnentafel reports, websites, and various other comprehensive reports
in various documentation formats.
GRAMPS can also include extra media types (like JPEG images and audio
files), record sources of information, and keep track of locations
(place names).
All works, tested on NetBSD and FreeBSD (looking for testers on Darwin&OBSD),
Linux port is under development.

Original code: Isao SEKI <iseki@gongon.com>
Fork&patches: pancake <pancake@phreaker.net>
WiStumbler2 is a fork of original wistumbler caused by the incommunication
of the original author, because seems that development was getting stopped.
In the fork of wistumbler I add some new features and bugfixes.
Diff on wistumbler:

- some gtk widgets wasn't correctly used.
- Support for console mode (no X needed).
- Allow log-saving on the fly (new button).
- Patches some GPS pointers that segfaults.
- Speaker beeps like windows-stumbler. (ear-wardriving)
- FreeBSD port finished.

LaTeX2e from your docbook document. They do not perform any FO
transformation, the only thing they do is to map DocBook tags into
more or less standard LaTeX (a recent installation of LaTeX 2e is
required, with most common packages. However, in more stable releases,
package dependencies will be completely managed with xsl variables,
making it virtually compatible with basic LaTeX 2e installations).
All the "styling" has to be done by modifying available xsl:variables,
overriding and customizing templates, and in the last, by adding your
"sty" files.
package, you can run latex on a UHC-based Korean LaTeX file to produce
a Korean document. You can typeset all Korean characters defined in
UHC, including Korean Symbol, Hangul and Hanja. UHC means Unified
Hangul Code, Microsoft's own Hangul code including EUC-KR. Currently,
HLaTeX can be used with Lambda/Omega. tetex-1.0 and above include
them.
Version 1.4b (9/30/03, again)
* Removed dependence on PyXML. Will now import XML support from
PyXML, if it is available, but if not, imports from the
Python standard library.
This library is a partial implementation of the AT&T/Apple AppleTalk
Library Interface. The ALI was designed as the standard AppleTalk API
for Unix System V Release 4.
This library is designed for use with Netatalk, a Unix AppleTalk
implementation from the University of Michigan; see
http://ppr.trincoll.edu/
The package uses a buildlink file for Netatalk which I submitted
separately.

this allows the binary to at least find the libraries on Linux,
but it is segfaulting on startup for me on Slackware 9 after adding
glibc 2.3.2 to satisfy the requirement.

SQL Relay is a persistent database connection pooling, proxying and
load balancing system for Unix and Linux supporting ODBC, Oracle,
MySQL, mSQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Interbase,
Lago and SQLite with APIs for C, C++, Perl, Perl-DBI, Python,
Python-DB, Zope, PHP, Ruby, Ruby-DBI, TCL and Java, command line
clients, a GUI configuration tool and extensive documentation.
The APIs support advanced database operations such as bind variables,
multi-row fetches, client side result set caching and suspended
transactions. It is ideal for speeding up database-driven web-based
applications, accessing databases from unsupported platforms,
migrating between databases, distributing access to replicated
databases and throttling database access.
