that multiple Linux kernel packages can be installed at same time.
Change PKGNAME scheme to allow it to be installed multiple times
simultaneously.
Use PKG_PRESERVE so the Linux kernel can't get accidently deinstalled.
Add a variable to choose where to install (but not used yet,
due to some problems when LOCALBASE is /).
Set NO_MTREE.
Make sure the boot and lib/modules directories are created.
Increased kernel version to 2.6.6. Sorry changes no listed here.
See kernel.org for change logs.
Honor the USE_INET6 so CONFIG_IPV6 is set.
For default configurations (for modules, etc.) add
change CONFIG_DRM_I830= to module and add:
CONFIG_USB_OHCI_HCD=y
CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO=m
CONFIG_USB_AUDIO=m
Crawl is a small and efficient HTTP crawler.
The crawl utility starts a depth-first traversal of the web at the specified
URLs. It stores all JPEG images that match the configured constraints.
Crawl is fairly fast and allows for graceful termination. After terminating
crawl, it is possible to restart it at exactly the same spot where it was
terminated. Crawl keeps a persistent database that allows multiple crawls
without revisiting sites.
patch-a[abc] are needed for correct detection of bdb on my Debian Linux
system.
- libdv/dv.c: fix widescreen detection for SMPTE vs IEC.
- libdv/dv.h, dv.c: added dv_format_letterbox()
- libdv/audio.c, dv.h: added dv_is_normal_speed()
- libdv/enc_input.c: workaround potential V4L compilation error. (bug 879258)
- libdv/Makefile.am: set the AGE back to 0 on the current interface
version due to breaking binary compatibility.
Also format Makefile by adding tabs, improved COMMENT, USE_LIBTOOL,
removed redundant CONFIGURE_ARGS, and make sure that -O used.
TODO: maybe install ppmqscale which is already built.
It outputs a list of filenames where the first file contains a symbol
which is defined by the second file (which can then be sorted by tsort).
This lorder is the script included with NetBSD.
I packaged this last October 2003.

dvdauthor is a simple set of tools to help you author a DVD. The idea is to
be able to create menus, buttons, chapters, etc, or you can just take a mpeg
stream and write it to a DVD.

Cube is an open source multiplayer and singleplayer first person shooter
game built on an entirely new and very unconventional engine. Cube is a
landscape-style engine that pretends to be an indoor FPS engine, which
combines very high precision dynamic occlusion culling with a form of
geometric mipmapping on the whole world for dynamic LOD for configurable
fps & graphic detail on most machines. Uses OpenGL & SDL.
- these packages are *very* incomplete. testing/improvements/fixes are
definitely needed.
- firefox for Linux/i386 starts about 50% of the time (and runs
flawlessly when it does) on NetBSD 2.0E with these libraries, but this
may be a Linux compat issue. I haven't really tested much else.
- ldconfig handling is non-existant yet.
the packages are taken from the latest unstable debian tree dated

MailScanner is a complete e-mail security system designed for use on
e-mail gateways. It protects against viruses, and detects attacks against
e-mail client packages (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora). It
can also detect almost all unsolicited commercial e-mail (spam) passing
through it and respond to all incidents in a wide variety of ways.
Not only can it scan for known viruses, but it can also protect against
unknown viruses hidden inside e-mail attachments by refusing entry to
attachments whose filenames match any given pattern. This can include
generic patterns that trap filenames attempting to hide the true filename
extension (e.g. ".txt.vbs").
It is superior to many commercial packages in its ability to handle
attacks against itself, such as Denial Of Service attacks caused by
messages containing the "Zip of Death". It is easy to install into an
existing e-mail gateway, requiring very little knowledge of sendmail
and no change to an existing sendmail configuration.
MailScanner itself is entirely open source, but it uses widely known
commercial virus scanning packages at its core. The other software it
uses is all high quality open source software, leading to a system that
can be trusted for performance and reliability.
BinHex is a format used by Macintosh for transporting Mac files safely
through electronic mail, as short-lined, 7-bit, semi-compressed data
streams. Ths module provides a means of converting those data streams
back into into binary data.
This is the "unofficial" version. The official version
includes and builds many libraries already in pkgsrc.
The unofficial version should be easier to build.
Cinelerra is a non-linear video editor. It has won some
awards for its great use and is used in commercial productions.
See:
http://cvs.cinelerra.org/http://manual.cinelerra.org/http://heroinewarrior.com/cinelerra.php3 (official version).
I'd like to get it to use ffmpeg and/or wip/libdv.
Kino is a non-linear digital video (DV) editor. It can be used to record,
create, edit, and play movies recorded with DV camcorders. It features
integration with IEEE 1394 for capture, VTR control, and recording back
to the camera. It captures video to disk in AVI format in both type-1
DV and type-2 DV (separate audio stream) encodings.
You can load multiple video clips into a playlist, cut and paste portions
of video/audio, and save it to a playlist. This program uses many
keyboard commands for fast navigating and editing inside the movie.
Kino can load playlists and save the composite playlist as a new DV
AVI file. Kino can save a single frame of video (a still) in numerous
file formats.
