Bump PKGREVISION.
LMMS aims to be a free alternative to popular (but commercial and
closed- source) programs like FruityLoops, Cubase and Logic giving you
the ability of producing music with your computer by
creating/synthesizing sounds, arranging samples, using effects, playing
live with keyboard and much more...
LMMS combines the features of a sequencer-program (pattern-/channel-/
sample-/song-/effect-management) and those of powerful synthesizers and
samplers in a modern, user-friendly and easy to use graphical
user-interface.
New features include:
* A new function buffer-toggle-compression (and corresponding entry
in the Document menu) has been added to change whether the file
will be compressed on disk or not.
* A "LaTeX (pdflatex)" output format has been added. This new
output format produces .tex files that are suitable for pdflatex,
including figure conversion to png, pdf or jpeg instead of eps.
Changelog is at http://www.lyx.org/announce/1_4_2.txt
MESSAGE updated for new user interface.
gtar not needed to extract.
(Note that the xforms version was not tested.)
Pkgsrc changes:
- Cleaned up COMMENT: There are no more separate packages for x11 and sdl.
- INSTALLATION_DIRS should be extended, not set absolutely.
- Simplified PLIST handling: no more @exec in PLIST, replaced by OWN_DIRS_PERMS.
- Simplified installation of sounds/graphics/levels etc. All the files are now
dynamically added to the PLIST, so the static PLIST is really short now.
- Use GAMEOWN and GAMEGRP as user and group now.
- No more substitutions in the pre-configure target and no more patch-aa:
Replaced by overriding GNU make variables with MAKE_FLAGS.
- Simplified patch-ab, also with MAKE_FLAGS.
- Changed mode of top-level score directory so that users cannot see
the score files. This prevents tampering with high scores :).
- The do-install target uses now INSTALL_GAME to honor SETGIDGAME (from mk.conf).
Relevant changes since version 3.1.2:

Also, when -v is used display the state of all extracted variables at the
start of the run
vulnerability.", and move to net/vncviewer, replacing vncviewer-3.x
- Remove vncpasswd from net/vnc and add to net/vncviewer
- Bump PKGREVISION for net/vnc
0.28 release. Cherrypicking, a new testsuite, and some fixes
and enhancements.
New features:
- Cherrypicking with the new "pluck" command. This takes (a restricted
subset of) the changes in a revision, or between two
revisions, and applies them to your workspace. That this
has happened is not recorded in history; it as if you
happened to make some very similar changes by hand in your
workspace.
- New automate commands, "automate tags" and "automate branches".
- "diff" now knows how to find enclosing function (or
whatever) bodies, just like GNU diff's "-p" option.
-- The regex that defines "enclosing function" can be chosen
on a per-file basis by a hook function; the default hook
knows about LaTeX, Texinfo, and most programming
languages.
-- This is enabled by default; use --no-show-encloser to
disable.
Enhancements:
- When netsync fails due to permission errors, the server returns a
semi-intelligible message before dropping the connection.
- When merging a branch with 3 or more heads, the order in which to
merge the heads will now automatically be chosen to minimize
the amount of repeated work that must be done.
- Crash dumps are now written to $CONFDIR/dump when no workspace is
available
- Path validation routines are faster.
- Inodeprints should be slightly more robust now.
- New hook get_mtn_command, used to determine the path to the
mtn binary on a remote host, when using ssh support.
- "diff" now accepts "-u" and "-c" as short for "--unified"
(the default) and "--context", respectively.
Bug fixes:
- "revert --missing" now works when run in a subdirectory.
- "revert --missing" now works without any additional files
being specified. (You don't have to say "mtn revert
--missing .".)
- Fix an edge case where monotone would crash if there was a
content conflict in a merge for which there was no lca.
- Fix a case where netsync would sometimes hang during refinement.
- "mtn help" and "mtn --help" now exit with return code 0.
Build environment:
- automake 1.9 is now required.
- The testsuite has been rewritten, and should be much faster now. It
also no longer relies on the presence of a *nix userland.
- Add workaround for gcc 4.1.[01] bug causing "multiple
definition" errors.
Internal:
- Restrictions have been split into path_restrictions and
node_restrictions, and generally cleaned up more.
when passing through the barrier. This ensures the PATH (passed via
PKGSRC_MAKE_ENV) is correctly set for all phases after the barrier.
This fixes a bug in "interactive" pkgsrc use, where if you have no
work directory and type "make build && make install", then the "install"
step does not have a PATH set to include all the wrapper and tools
directories.
Changes:
Security fix for CVE-2006-2450, remote authentication bypass
in libvncserver.
Notified by the upstream maintainer, Karl Runge via PR pkg/34050
New in the 0.8.2 x11vnc release:
================================
Support for full mouse and keyboard input into the Linux
console framebuffer /dev/fb0 in -rawfb mode
(i.e. non-X11) by using the Linux "uinput" driver.
This enables, for example, viewing and interacting
with Qt-embedded/Qtopia-Core apps on Linux-based
handhelds, etc.
Options: -rawfb cons, -pipeinput UINPUT More info:
http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/#faq-qt-embedded
Extension of the display option: -display WAIT:<disp-or-cmd>
to delay x11vnc's opening of the X display
until a VNC client connects (useful built-in:
-display WAIT:cmd=FINDDISPLAY, to find a user's
display and Xauthority data).
Options -grabkbd and -grabptr have x11vnc try to grab
the X display when VNC clients are connected to
prevent a (non-malicious) user at the physical X
display from performing keyboard or mouse input.
E.g. remote help-desk support.
miscellaneous new features and changes:
-allowedcmds option to fine-tune which external commands
may be run by x11vnc, rather than shutting
them all off with -nocmds.
-env VAR=VALUE convenience option to avoid the need of
setting environment variables before starting
x11vnc.
-allinput option to enable libvncserver handleEventsEagerly
parameter (not clear it yields an improvement).
-rawfb rand fun/testing option using /dev/urandom as a fb.
-license, -copying, -warranty option.
New in the 0.8.1 x11vnc release:
================================
Improved support for webcams and TV tuners with video4linux
/dev/video: see the "-rawfb video" and "-pipeinput VID"
options. (the latter gives a simple keyboard control
of a TV tuner; see also the -freqtab option for stations).
FBPM support for hardware that provides framebuffer power
management (it needs to be disabled when vnc clients
are connected).
The -usepw option will require x11vnc to use a password of
some sort or otherwise exit immediately. Put it in
your ~/.x11vncrc so you don't forget.
The command "x11vnc -storepasswd" will prompt for a password
without echoing and save it in ~/.vnc/passwd
The X CLIPBOARD selection is managed in addition to the
X PRIMARY selection.
miscellaneous new features and changes:
Convenience option for accessing the Linux console: -rawfb cons
etc. (requires /dev/fb0 to be working).
clipboard/cut-text input can now be managed on a per-client
basis.
-capslock and -skip_lockkeys options can help make CapsLock work
better.
The Xdummy wrapper script is included in the source tree.
A mode "-gone popup" as been added.
-24to32 option to avoid 24bpp problems.
-xinerama is on by default.
