34313ea28c There is already a 'static' keyword present for part of this patch, so
patching in a second one is unnecessary, and for some compilers (GCC 4.4)
fatal at build time.

b37304e0ba compiler.mk, gcc.mk: Implement DRAGONFLY_CCVER
DragonFly has two compilers in base, GCC 4.4.7 and GCC 4.7.2.
The way one switches between them for userland programs is to set
CCVER in the environment.

However, to set this via make.conf is tricky. I've been using the
low level "ALL_ENV+= CCVER=gcc47", but this trick fails to properly
identify the compiler which results in _GCC_VERSION being incorrectly
defined.

Additionally, there are some prominent packages that do not build on
gcc 4.7 and the fix is either not fully understood or would require a
large amount of work to implement. In these cases, it is desireable
to specify the package be built on gcc 4.4 regardless of CCVER setting.

To address these issues, a new directive is added: DRAGONFLY_CCVER.
It is only effective if OPSYS equals "DragonFly", and it will properly
set CCVER and properly define _GCC_VERSION. It will also allow a
per package specification of a particular compiler in the pkg makefile.

Secure locate provides a secure way to index and quickly search for files on

its database to make searching faster, but it will also check file permissions
and ownership so that users will not see files they do not have access to.

Razor-qt is an advanced, easy-to-use, and fast desktop environment based

speed, and an intuitive interface. Unlike most desktop environments,
Razor-qt also works fine with weak machines. It works with various WMs;
most Razor developers use Openbox.

b1bbf73307 Import fish-1.23.1 as shells/fish, packaged for wip by Moritz Wilhelmy,
Adam Hoka and hugor.

fish is a user friendly command line shell for UNIX-like operating
systems, written mainly with interactive use in mind. It differs
from other shells in that it only provides as few commands as
built-ins as possible and has a daemon which allows it to have
shared variables and command-line history between shell instances.
It also features feature-rich tab-completion and has command-line
syntax highlighting.

d7abf1e85f Import iodine-0.6.0rc1 as net/iodine, packaged for wip by Moritz Wilhelmy,
Georg Schwarz and MJ Turner.

iodine lets you tunnel IPv4 data through a DNS server. This can be usable in
different situations where internet access is firewalled, but DNS queries are
allowed.

It runs on Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD and needs a TUN/TAP
device. The bandwidth is assymetrical with limited upstream and up to 1 Mbit/s
downstream.

Compared to other DNS tunnel implementations, iodine offers:
 * Higher performance: iodine uses the NULL type that allows the downstream
data to be sent without encoding. Each DNS reply can contain nearly a
   kilobyte of payload data.

 * Portability: iodine runs on many different UNIX-like systems. Tunnels can be
set up between two hosts no matter their endianness or operating system.

 * Security: iodine uses challenge-response login secured by MD5 hash. It also
filters out any packets not coming from the IP and port used when logging
   in.

 * Less setup: iodine handles setting IP number on interfaces automatically,
and up to 8 users can share one server at the same time.

5fc0909cea Import xa65-2.3.5 as devel/xa65, packaged for wip by Moritz Wilhelmy.
xa is a high-speed, two-pass portable cross-assembler. It understands mnemonics
and generates code for NMOS 6502s (such as 6502A, 6504, 6507, 6510, 7501, 8500,
8501, 8502 ...), CMOS 6502s (65C02 and Rockwell R65C02) and the 65816.

Key features:
* C-like preprocessor (and understands cpp for additional feature support)
* rich expression syntax and pseudo-op vocabulary
* multiple character sets
* binary linking
* supports o65 relocatable objects with a full linker and relocation suite, as
well as "bare" plain binary object files
* block structure for label scoping

46fbb4d664 Updated misc/howm to 1.4.0 2012-12-12 13:11:08 +00:00
wiz
d72a09d894 Update to 1.4.0, provided by ISIHARA Takanori in PR 47075.
1.3.9.2 to 1.4.0

INCOMPATIBLE update. If you need compatibility with 1.3.*, put
(setq howm-compatible-to-ver1dot3 t) before (require 'howm) in your
.emacs. See M-x customize-group RET howm-compatibility RET for
details.

Though howm-1.4.0 has a new menu file, your old menu file is not
updated automatically. Copy en/0000-00-00-000000.txt into howm/
directory if you like. Alternatively, you can cut and paste some
parts of it to your howm/0000-00-00-000000.txt by hand.

1.3.9.1 to 1.3.9.2

small bug fix.
