936190b100 pkgtools/digest supports SHA3 now 
Remove explicit notice that DragonFly defaults to modular-xorg (platform notes
in bootstrap/README.$ should cover such info & we direct reader there? if we
should cover it in the guide)
Indicate that only some of the utilities in the pkgtools category are shown.
Direct user to the "Checking for security vulnerabilities in installed packages"
section.

a9c5dbd3da Note the new PKG_DBDIR location 
Remove ftp.FreeBSD.org as default MASTER_SITE_BACKUP
xlc on Darwin was for PowerPC and no longer available but the history of
mk/compiler/xlc.mk show that work to add AIX support had start at some point so
drop the Darwin/OS X reference.

4c1e94dbc6 Use the path pkg_admin is installed in when bootstrapped from pkgsrc, not natively on NetBSD. 
Add a cron job to run the audit in the example.
Direct NetBSD users to the fetch_pkg_vulnerabilities & check_pkg_vulnerabilities instead.

cea224c694 Since 2016Q4 the package database lives inside the prefix, out of varbase. 
Update the paths.
Remove the platform specific notes place holder which directed readers to
the intro page.
Platform specific notes were moved to the readme files in the bootstrap
directory during the 2016 pkgsrcCon.

e95a0d4d46 Instruct the reader to set prefer-pkgsrc during bootstrap. It appears that 
setting this post bootstrap does create issues, as observed with a Linux user
today.

100d149d09 The guide currently contains a mix of csh & bourne style examples, acknowledge that until docs are amended to a single syntax.

376f99eeee Switch to direct py-dns dependency. 
py-dns now supports all python versions, so versioned_dependencies
is not needed any longer.

48257f51b8 Migrated the pkgsrc guide to DocBook 4.5. 
This allows the use of the <code> element instead of <literal>, and several
other enhancements.

The formatting specification in default.dsl is necessary because DSSSL does
not recognize the <code> element and therefore formats it in red by
default.
