f4362c9a78 Add p5-Net-XMPP 1.0, net::XMPP provides Perl Developer access to the
XMPP protocol.

The Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) is an IETF standard
that provides a complete cross protocol messaging solution. The problem
with current IM solutions is that they are all proprietary and cannot
talk to each other. XMPP seeks to get rid of those barriers.

Net::XMPP is a collection of Perl modules that provide a Perl Developer
access to the XMPP protocol. Using OOP modules we provide a clean
interface to writing anything from a full client to a simple protocol
tester.

41932d6f55 GQ changed the configure option to specify the LDAP base directory
from --with-ldap to --with-ldap-prefix quite some time ago.

Incidentally, it still used to work with the wrong option most of the
time, as configure silently ignores unknown --with options (this is a
feature), and as the configure script often included the correct -I
and -L options to find OpenLDAP as a side-effect of other stuff
installed in the same location. However, I've seen it fail as well,
and using the correct option is the canonical way out.

71f5938a88 - remove unnecessary FETCH_DEPENDS
- remove unnecessary variable PERL_BASE
- dependency on devel/p5-IO only if Perl < 5.6.x
- add a missing man page (Net::SSH::Perl::Config.3) and a missing file
  (%%SITE_PERL%%/%%PERL_ARCH%%/auto/Net/SSH/Perl/.packlist)
- sort MAN3 in Makefile
- add a patch that suppresses the prompts in the Perl configure script
and always selects all modules for installation (This should hopefully
fix the package build on the cluster, so remove NO_PACKAGE as well.)

a32bc346c6 Attached patch comes from official quagga developer list. It fixes
the problem with bgpd lockup when remote peer dies. Patch is tested
by many people. Here is also some cleanup to Makefile to remove
unused variable. Please commit it.

b10532a581 Add ifstated, a port of src/usr.sbin/ifstated from OpenBSD. It has been
modified to use kqueue/kevent and sysctl.

The ifstated daemon runs commands in response to network state changes,
which it determines by monitoring interface link state or running exter-
nal tests. For example, it can be used with carp(4) to change running
services or to ensure that carp(4) interfaces stay in sync, or with pf(4)
to test server or link availability and modify translation or routing
rules.

817db233c8 Bump 29 ports that use GCONF_SCHEMAS. Somehow, the diff of GNOME 2.8.x has
lost the small part. The small part was GCONF_SCHEMAS in bsd.gnome.mk that is
taking care of gconf key and schemas files for pkg-plist. Pav has committed by
re-add GCONF_SCHEMAS back in bsd.gnome.mk this afternoon. Therefore, must bump
PORTREVISION to correct our pkg-plist database installed.

58406bee89 Presenting GNOME 2.8 for FreeBSD (2.8.1 to be exact).
This release notes detailing all of the new goodies in GNOME 2.8 can
be found at http://www.gnome.org/start/2.8/notes/, and the list of what
was fixed in GNOME 2.8.1 can be found at
http://lists.gnome.org/archives/gnome-announce-list/2004-October/msg00056.html.

This release, as well as all of our others, would not have been possible
without the great efforts of our FreeBSD GNOME Team. The list of
current members can be found at http://www.freebsd.org/gnome/contact.html
(including our newest member, Michael Johnson <ahze@FreeBSD.org>).

Special thanks also goes out to all of the loyal FreeBSD GNOME users that
put up with crashes and hangs to test and debug GNOME on FreeBSD. We would
especially like to thank those users that provided patches for GNOME 2.7 and
2.8:

Franz Klammer <klammer@webonaut.com>
Piotr Smyrak <piotr.smyrak@heron.pl>
Radek Kozlowski <radek@raadradd.com>
Khairil Yusof <kaeru@pd.jaring.my>
Yasuda Keisuke <kysd@po.harenet.ne.jp>
Tom McLaughlin <tmclaugh@sdf.lonestar.org>
Vladimir Grebenschikov <vova@fbsd.ru>

GNOME 2.8 also features a new, FreeBSD-specific splashscreen that
was designed by jimmac for GNOME 2.8, then daemonized by
Franz Klammer <klammer@webonaut.com> and Radek Kozlowski
<radek@raadradd.com>.

As with GNOME 2.6, you cannot just "portupgrade" to GNOME 2.8. There is
a script provided at http://www.marcuscom.com/downloads/gnome_upgrade28.sh
that will aid in the upgrade process. Full documentation on the GNOME 2.8
upgrade is coming following this commit.

From all of us at FreeBSD GNOME, ENJOY!

o Don't use devinfo(8) in startup script, since it doesn't exist on 4.x. Use
  pciinfo(8) instead.

o In zaptel driver don't require a specific major on the 5.x system that
  support auto major numbering;

o Assign specific majors to wcfxs and wcfxo drivers on systems that don't
  support auto major numbering;

o Ensure that nodes are created properly on non-devfs systems.

642ae82e0e Add siproxd, a proxy/masquerading daemon for the SIP protocol.
It handles registrations of SIP clients on a private IP network
and performs rewriting of the SIP message bodies to make SIP
connections possible via a masquerading firewall.
It allows SIP clients (like kphone, linphone) to work behind
an IP masquerading firewall or router.

01a18f213a add LDAP backend support to net/isc-dhcp3-server
with some modifications to the port itself and utilizing a
	patch from Brian Masney (http://www.newwave.net/~masneyb/)
it is possible to use an LDAP backend to store the configuration
for dhcpd, the different network and host entries. dynamic
leases are also written to the LDAP backend.

this is very useful in a dhcp failover environment, as it
is no longer necessary to sync the dhcpd.conf file manually
to the backup system if one has changed something on the
dhcp master. two lookup methods are implemented.

	- static lookup:
on dhcpd startup one LDAP lookup for all entries is done.
no further lookups will be made.
dhcpd must be restarted for every configuration change.
	- dynamic lookup:
for every client request an LDAP lookup will be made.
every configuration change kicks in when the next
client request is recieved and the lookup is made.
