to replace mail/dovecot at some point in the future.
Funny version numbering is used here to make this package dewey-comparable
against mail/dovecot; 1.0.alphaN is "dovecot-0.99.99.N".
Updated PLIST because of changes.
Bumped PKGREVISION. Not really needed since the date-like version is
stepped every day, but it is in line with how the rest of pkgsrc is handled
Removed PKGNAME (it should have a version and defaults to DISTNAME)
Removed WRKSRC which defaults to ${WRKDIR}/${DISTNAME}
Corrected COMMENT (should not end with a '.')
PLIST:
Replaced ${PKGNAME} with vtwm
virtual desktop, processing configuration files using m4, support
for sound effects using rplay, and 3D buttons, frames, titlebars, etc.
VTWM also has support for regular expressions in the configuration files.
plan9ports[1], mk-with-libs.tgz[2] and wmii[3].
To use this shell the plan9ish way, a rcmain is needed which bootstraps a
shell environment. In contrast to the version of plan9ports[1] by Russ Cox,
this version checks for the $RCMAIN environment variable and uses that
file for bootstrapping. If that variable is not present, $PREFIX/lib/rcmain
is used as fallback. Like in plan9, you can supply
rc -m /path/to/alternate/rcmain file for interactive shells.
Many thanks go to Lucent, the Bell Labs which developed this fine shell
and to Russ Cox for his plan9ports. Since Lucent made plan9 open source,
we can get rid of Brian Rakitzis rc/unix implementation which behaves
not rc-standard-compliant.

to store text in Unicode (either UCS-2 or UCS-4) and to use locale-correct
input and output. It also supports mixing multiple fonts at the same time,
including Xft fonts.
Package has not been tested much. Please feel free to improve it.
ussp-push is a OBEX object pusher for Linux, using the BlueZ BlueTooth stack.
The original ussp-push implementation required explicit binding to RFCOMM
channels before the usage, that made it quite cumbersome to use. I added
BlueTooth name resolution, and direct access to remote BlueTooth listening
channels.
NOTE:
This is the only obex push transfer program that works fine for my Nokia mobile.
This is a speed and portability optimized version of Andree Buschmann's
MPEG-Plus decoder. Speed enhancement is about 1:4...1:5 relative to the
original source. Some of these optimizations flood back to the original
decoder, but especially on AMD K6-2/AMD K6-III/AMD Athlon/AMD Duron/Intel
Pentium III/Intel Pentium 4 there's still some hand written assembler code
so this decoder ist still much faster.
TODO:
override wip/mppdec ?
gnormalize is a front end to normalize, an audio converter, a ripper, an
encoder, a cd player and a metadata (tag) editor. It uses gtk2-perl under
GNU/Linux.
gnormalize decodes the MP3/MP4/MPC/OGG/APE/FLAC file to WAV, then normalizes
the WAV to a targeted volume level and re-encodes it. gnormalize can also rip,
encode, convert audio format between MP3, MP4, MPC, OGG, APE and FLAC, change
the encoding and matadata (tag) properties of final normalized files.
Ida is a small and fast image viewer, motif-based. For people who
don't want the KDE/GNOME overhead. Some basic editing functions are
available too.
The package also includes exiftran, similar to jpegtran.
GNU Parted is a program that allows you to create, destroy, resize,
move and copy hard disk partitions. This is useful for creating
space for new operating systems, reorganising disk usage, and
copying data to new hard disks.
Parted currently supports DOS, Mac, Sun, BSD, GPT, MIPS and PC98
disklabels/partition tables, as well as a 'loop' (raw disk) type
which allows use on RAID/LVM. Filesystems which are currently
fully supported are ext2, ext3, fat (FAT16 and FAT32), ReiserFS
(with libreiserfs) and linux-swap. Parted can also detect and
remove HFS (Mac OS), JFS, NTFS, UFS (Sun and HP), XFS and ASFS/AFFS/
APFS (Amiga) filesystems, but cannot create, resize or check these
filesystems yet.
Use at your own risk.
ent is a program which applies various tests to sequences of bytes stored in
files and reports the results of those tests. The program is useful for those
evaluating pseudorandom number generators for encryption and statistical
sampling applications, compression algorithms, and other applications where the
information density of a file is of interest.

pytagger is a ID3 tag reader and writer implemented purely in Python.
It supports all the current ID3 tag implementations including ID3v1,
ID3v1.1, ID3v2.2, ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4.

All files/directories are uninstalled correctly now.
Version 1.0.2 - Sat, 30 Aug 2003
================================
General:
- Fixed bug in mixer_common.c that caused the ncurses UI to display the
wrong device but with the wrong channel numbers when saving or loading
settings. This bug was introduced in 1.0.1 because I didn't test enough
when I changed the inverted loops to normal. This happened because the
current mixer wasn't reserved when returning from the settings_save() or
settings_load() functions, now it is.
- Fixed a bug that could have caused segmentation fault when Umix quits.
mixer_close() was free():ing something that cannot be freed, this leads back
to when I removed plugins and didn't check this.
Again, thanks to Andrew B. Collier for helping.
Ncurses UI:
- Cleaned code up (somewhat) and moved stuff to their own functions.
Version 1.0.1-1 - Tue, 26 Aug 2003
==================================
General:
- Fixed a stupid double semicolon in mixer.c, should now build with gcc
version 2.9.x. Thanks to Andrew B. Collier for reporting this. Nothing else
changes, just this and the source tarball version number.
Version 1.0.1 - Sat, 23 Aug 2003
================================
General:
- The default mixer device is again '/dev/mixer', I changed it back at some
point but don't remember when. Use
`./configure --with-mixer-dev=/dev/sound/mixer' if you are using devfs.
- Changed the saving settings message.
- Moved stuff in umix.c to their own functions.
- General code cleanup.
- Fixed an off-by-one bug in the oss driver when updating values from the
mixer which might have caused passing the wrong parameter to ioctl.
- Updated the test() function.
Packages:
- Fixed Debian package version number in debian/changelog, was 0.9.1, now
1.0.1.
- Updated Gentoo ebuild from the portage tree.
> removed the pre-build target and added a BUILDLINK_PASSTHRU_RPATHDIRS
> line, jlam told me about that trick.
The jdk14 package can be build as non-root user now.
Package changes include:
- comment remove "personal"
- remove post-patch
- use INSTALLATION_DIRS
- use regular install to install i18n files
- put examples under "easysetup" subdirectory
- update TODO
- regenerate patch-aa
- patch-ab is so extras are installed to correct place
- patch-ac gets rid of "function" and "typeset" from shell script
- patch-ad installs data to correct location
