This switches from the release candidate to the real release, changes
are bugfixes and some stylistic changes.
pkgsrc note: the .omf file for the documentation is missing in
the distribution. I've pulled it from CVS. This workaround can
hopefully be removed on the next update.
(The website still refers to 1.6.3 as the current stable version.)

Bump PKGREVISION.
This is a bugfix release that tries to fix three issues:
- The reappearing of already downloaded items
(caused by an incorrect cache handling)
- The continuous growth of the sqlite DB file
(caused by comments not being removed along with their parent items).
- The general performance problem with search folders.

and Tetsuya Isaki via private mail.
IM provides a series of user interface commands (imput, imget, imls, ...)
and backend Perl5 modules to integrate E-mail and NetNews user interface.
They are designed to be used both from Mew version 1.x and on command line.
find out the "real" path. This breaks building of the package (where we rely
on the specified value) if prefix is a symlink or some path component of
prefix is a symlink. Only change the prefix if it starts with a dot.
check that the string fits to the variable type.
Currently, the generated warnings are mainly for X11_TYPE, for which
"xorg" is not a valid value. (hi joerg!)
