c706b9ff5b Apple's mDNSResponder:
What is mDNSResponder?
----------------------

The mDNSResponder project is a component of Rendezvous,
Apple's ease-of-use IP networking initiative:
<http://developer.apple.com/macosx/rendezvous/index.html>

Apple's Rendezvous software derives from the ongoing standardization
work of the IETF Zero Configuration Networking Working Group:
<http://zeroconf.org/>

See rest of readme for other juicy details.

Secial thanks to Apple for making this code available as well as
to the various people inside Apple that made this possible.

f79d0ba32b o Update to Freenet Stable build 5072 released 20040228 snapshot
o This new build incorporates the new "rate limiting" load balancing
mechanism discussed here. Rate limiting has proven surprisingly
effective in the unstable branch, typically keeping a node's load
within a few percentage points of where it is supposed to be.
This is in stark contrast to previous load balancing attempts
where load was continuously so high as to render Freenet nodes
  almost completely useless.

f012ee36b4 Add python director 0.0.7.
This is a pure-python TCP load balancer. It takes inbound TCP
connections and connects them to one of a number of backend servers.

Features:
    * async i/o based, so much less overhead than fork/thread based
      balancers.
    * Multiple scheduling algorithms (random, round robin, leastconns,
      leastconns+roundrobin)
    * If a server fails to answer, it's removed from the pool - the
client that failed to connect gets transparently failed over to a
      new host.
    * xml based configuration file
    * seperate management thread that periodically re-adds failed hosts
      if they've come back up.
    * optional builtin webserver for admin (sample of the running
      screen)
    * webserver has methods suitable for both interactive and automated
      systems

8832cde5fe Revert previous delta, according to Porter's Handbook:
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/porters-handbook/porting-wrkdirprefix.html

"In particular, if you are referring to a WRKDIR of another port, note that
  the correct location is ${WRKDIRPREFIX}${PORTSDIR}/subdir/name/work"

Other ports that use ${.CURDIR} when reffering WRKDIR of another port should
be fixed along with bento scripts.

Maxim Sobolev
d90b35f496 Replace '${WRKDIRPREFIX}${PORTSDIR}/' with '${WRKDIR}/../../../' when
reffering other ports, since the former for some reason doesn't work
in bento environment (it works here just fine even with WRKDIRPREFIX
set).

BTW, this is good evidence which shows that breakage on bento isn't
sufficient to mark port as BROKEN.

The ng_netflow node implements Cisco's Netflow (c) version 5

incoming traffic and identifies unique flows in it. Flows are
distinguished by endpoint IP addresses, TCP/UDP port numbers
and ToS. Expired flows are exported out of the node.

All operation is done in kernel: both traffic capturing and
export datagram generation. Exported data contaion almost all
Netflow version 5 fields, except of AS numbers.

4e3cfa31e5 Add unfs3 v0.9.5
UNFS3 is a user-space implementation of the NFSv3 server specification. It
provides a daemon for the MOUNT and NFS protocols, which are used by NFS
clients for accessing files on the server.
Since it runs in user-space, you can use it in a jail.

d55e243de2 If you attempt to send an ICMP echo to a host on the same ethernet
subnet, and that host is down/turned off, the Tnm::icmp echo command
will fail rather than return an unreachable indication on some
occasions. This is because the nmicmpd program will occasionally
get an EHOSTDOWN error when doing a sendto() when the ARP entry
resolution times out.

This is a problem since this API can support a list of hosts to
send traffic to, and a single error as described will abort the
entire operation.

(The reviewer claims that he could not duplicate the problem,
but that the patch seems like a good idea anyway.)
