Several programs now check that numbers end properly. For example,
'du -d 1x' now reports an error instead of silently ignoring the 'x'.
Affected programs and options include du -d, expr's numeric operands
on non-GMP builds, install -g and -o, ls's TABSIZE environment
variable, mknod b and c, ptx -g and -w, shuf -n, and sort --batch-size
and --parallel.
date now parses military time zones in accordance with common usage:
"A" to "M" are equivalent to UTC+1 to UTC+12
"N" to "Y" are equivalent to UTC-1 to UTC-12
"Z" is "zulu" time (UTC).
For example, 'date -d "09:00B" is now equivalent to 9am in UTC+2 time zone.
Previously, military time zones were parsed according to the obsolete
rfc822, with their value negated (e.g., "B" was equivalent to UTC-2).
[The old behavior was introduced in sh-utils 2.0.15 ca. 1999, predating
coreutils package.]
ls issues an error message on a removed directory, on GNU/Linux systems.
Previously no error and no entries were output, and so indistinguishable
from an empty directory, with default ls options.
uniq no longer uses strcoll() to determine string equivalence,
and so will operate more efficiently and consistently.

ls now supports the --time=birth option to display and sort by
file creation time, where available.
od --skip-bytes now can use lseek even if the input is not a regular
file, greatly improving performance in some cases.
stat(1) supports a new --cached= option, used on systems with statx(2)
to control cache coherency of file system attributes,

What and why?
Without this dialog, when we want to install an extension we need to search it
from the webpage, download and install it using the Extension Manager. With
this dialog, we can now get and install extensions with one-click. This dialog
is appropriate for searching and installing not only general extensions but
also other types of extensions such as templates, macros, icons, etc. The main
purpose of creating this dialog is to improve user experience. Therefore,
nearly every detail of the extensions exist in the user interface. This
simplicity is designed and created thanks to the web API, power of extension
manager, and additions dialog.

s6-portable-utils is a set of tiny general Unix utilities, often performing
well-known tasks such as cut and grep, but optimized for simplicity and
small size. They were designed for embedded systems and other constrained
environments, but they work everywhere.

(otherwise excellent) BusyBox project only works on Linux.
This package depends on ICU headers that now unconditionally expect C99

As of 1.24, MATE requires GNU-specific msgfmt features. meta-pkgs/mate/
Makefile.common r. 1.10 expressed this tool dependency using
USE_BUILTIN.gettext=no, but this exposed pkgsrc gettext-libs in the
build environment as well, which some MATE packages then linked
against, but gettext-libs didn't end up being declared as a run-time
dependency, so binary package installations were broken (with the
workaround of manually installing the undeclared gettext-libs
dependency). Express this dependency differently, so GNU msgfmt is
used as a tool without exposing pkgsrc gettext-libs.
(The pkgsrc tooling infrastruture could be altered to provide a
distinct "gmsgfmt" tool, same with "gxgettext", and perhaps others.
Here I'm just immediately concerned with fixing this packaging issue.)

These PLIST files have been autogenerated by mk/haskell.mk using
HS_UPDATE_PLIST=yes during a bulk build. They will help to track changes
to the packages. The Haskell packages didn't have PLIST files because
their paths contained package hashes. These hashes are now determined by
mk/haskell.mk, which makes it easy to generate easy to read PLIST files.
Thes are not supported by pkg_alternatives, and lead to breakage as found
in <http://mail-index.netbsd.org/tech-pkg/2020/05/06/msg023089.html>.
In many cases these were unnecessary anyway, as they match the corresponding
command that pkg_alternatives will have automatically detected manual page
entries for, plus many of them did not support PKGMANDIR.
In the one case (databases/py-peewee) where the manual page does not match

Changes from 2.2:
Deal with curses sometimes optimizing away the final "s" in "Debug
symbols", causing the debug set to not be installed.
Increase default memory size for amd64 from 128M to 192M, as the
installer no longer runs reliably in 128M without exhausting memory.
Keep logging the console output for a few seconds after shutdown to
catch the autoconf detach messages and possible panics on detach.
When logging shell commands, avoid line breaks between options and
their arguments.
Support the "virt" machine type for evbarm-eamv7hf as an alternative
to the default of vexpress-a15. To enable, use the command line
option --machine virt.
Solaris has paths.h but does not define all _PATH_DEFPATH.
