b8e57311b1 Explicitly disable USB joystick code because there are too many API
incompatible versions of USB code in different FreeBSD releases (or even in
the same release makeworded on from sources cvsup'ed on different dates), so
that supporting all of them is nightmare.

I wish USB team would care about API compatibility in the future.

d1c2f0dddd Please welcome Qt3/KDE3 to our ports tree. This includes work since the
original versions of these ports, so some PORTREVISIONs were bumped. See
http://freebsd.kde.org/ and mailing lists linked to from there for info
on the packages generated to test these ports.

bsd.kde.mk has already been updated a few days ago to work with these.

Some patches applied to fix a few bugs were:

deskutils/kdepim3:
[1] Remove kpilot from build because it wasn't ready at release.
editors/koffice-kde3:
[2] Fix compile time bugs for FreeBSD.
misc/kdeedu3:
[3] Fix compile problem with kvoctrain.
x11/kdebase3:
[4] Fix KDM CPU usage and login bug.

Some caveats:
        * All PLISTs are broken for deinstall due to script bug that I
didn't notice until very recently. This will be fixed when I
commit an update tomorrow. These ports should still install
perfectly fine though. They should also deinstall without
giving errors, but will leave directories behind.
        * You can't install this with any other version of QT or KDE
already installed. I am not sure the checks are 100% working,
but fixes for these will be forthcoming. This is mainly due
to a policy decision made by kde@ to make QT/KDE ports install
the way the rest of the world expects it to while also still
conforming to FreeBSD's hier(7). For reference on this decision,
please consult the KDE/FreeBSD mailing list archives. This
decision fixes 2-year-old bug reports relating to how we handled
          this for KDE2 vs KDE1.

e05ed36727 Say goodbye to Qt 1.x and all of its dependents. The one port I found
which probably isn't supposed to be removed is misc/instant-workstation,
which had a dependency on audio/xamp (being removed), so I removed that
dependency and bumped PORTREVISION. All other ports are real dependents
upon Qt 1.x, including KDE 1.x stuff.

Code in bsd.kde.mk supporting these ports is also removed or adjusted.
Also, some adjustments made to accomodate Qt3/KDE3 ports, which will be
committed Real Soon Now (TM), pending repo-copies.

This commit made in impending view of Qt3/KDE3 entering ports tree.

19297be5ff Update to version 20020203.
Since the author switched to use autoconf to maintain it, the entire
build system changed quite a bit. In order to get it to use the
correct tools (avr-gcc etc.) instead of the default C compiler, the
package now contains wrapper scripts to configure and build it, so a
good part of our ports framework doesn't apply anymore very well. As
a side-effect, i can't get it to honor ${PREFIX} in any way right now.

Maybe i'll switch away from the shipped scripts, and redo all their
stuff within that Makefile in future.

884199b6e1 Add sdl_ldbad 1.0, a SDL Linux Developer's BandAiD. This package when
combined with a FreeBSD SDL package creates development environment more
similar to SDL development environment on other platforms (mostly Linux).

Please note that this package is only for developer's use - no package should
use it as a dependency!

Created due to massive number of complais from the Linux camp that local
FreeBSD hacks (sdl-config --> sdl11-config, include/SDL --> include/SDL11
etc.) are making FreeBSD useless platform for SDL developer.

which was lost in the great attic-sweep.
Thanks to all the people who had a local copy of it at freefall.

- Udpate to new layout and cleaned with portlint.
- Depends on autconf

This is a 6811 cross compiler for FreeBSD.

The C, C++ compiler is based on the GCC 2.95.2 release. The M68HC1x port is
based on an old port of GCC for 68HC11 made by Otto Lind. However, it was
intensively modified to generate smaller and faster code. It was enhanced
to support 32-bits and 64-bits integers. The support for IEEE floating point
numbers (32 and 64-bits) is also provided. Source level debugging is available
with DWARF-2 debugging format.

dbcd2ea333 Make work with the new bsd.port.mk. The benefit of the magick, that
used to work to figure out the name of the installed library automaticly
is, probably, not worth the disadvantages USE_SUBMAKE would bring. Just
hardcode the SHLIB_NAME and figure the SHLIB_LINK from it.

While I'm here, add tcl-memchan to the BUILD_DEPEND, so the automatic
self-testing is done every time this package is built

deficiency in orbit-python's Makefile structure: it's not sufficiently

809d3bb905 The FreeBSD port of Subversion goes to some length to link against the system
version of expat, rather than the expat-lite we distribute, so it will be a
good citizen of the ports tree and avoid spamming over the installed version
of expat that already exists. The patch to build.conf that was accomplishing
this was flawed, and only happened to work on my system because I had a copy
of libexpat.la sitting around in my /usr/local/lib, I imagine from a previous
subversion install I never cleaned out fully.

This alters the patch to build.conf such that instead of just replacing
libexpat with -lexpat, it replaces it with $(SVN_APRUTIL_LIBS), which in
addition to -lexpat, will also include -L/usr/local/lib, which makes the
build work. It also includes /usr/local/lib/libaprutil.la, which we don't
strictly need, but it doesn't hurt anything, and will get us by until we
are smarter about finding expat.

6733df072e This updates the subversion port to the latest release, which fixes
several small bugs noticed soon after the last release was rolled. it also
removes a patch that is no longer needed, as it was rolled into the upstream
source. as a bonus, this removes the dependency on the patch port, as svn now
uses gdiff3, rather than gdiff/gpatch.

882da14424 autoconf 2.53 appears to change the way variables are substituted,
which breaks the install target of apr's makefile. this patch works around
the problem. it's not entirely correct (it breaks some other parts of the
makefile), but at least it makes the port work again. this also corrects an
instance of 'apr-snapshot' (a previous name of the port) that we missed when
this was first committed, and adds 2 files to the pkg-plist that i missed
before.

77c7e24bc9 On -stable anyway, there is a problem getting "other" libs and cflags from
dependency packages (for example, from gthread-2.0). This prevents ports
like ORbit2 from compiling. It seems to be a pretty serious oversight on the
pkgconfig folks, so I'm going to submit this patch to them.

Basically, this patch adds recursive scanning capabilities to the
other_cflags and other_libs functions.
