28678d5efc Updated to 1.43.
Patch provided by Adrian Portelli <adrianp@stindustries.net> via PR
pkg/22463.

Changes:

1 July 2003

- Fixed yet another division by 0 problem, for two_axes.
- Added more tests to axestype.t
- Cleaned up other test files.
- Release 1.43

19 June 2003

- Fixed another division by 0 problem, introduced in 1.41
- Added test t/axestype.pm, which now tests for division by 0 error.
- Released 1.42

17 June 2003

- Removed file BUGS from distribution. Too much work to keep up to
  date. Use rt.cpan.org, or email.
- Fixed skip() calls in tests to work with ancient versions of
  Test.pm.
- Made GD::Graph::Data::read() work with file handles under Perl
  5.005.
- Released 1.41

16 June 2003

- Fixed when zero axis inclusion is done for bar and are charts.
- Fixed code to reserve area for hbar charts last y axis label

11 June 2003

- Added no_axes option, changed sample56 to reflect this

30 May 2003

- Added version number for GD::Text PREREQ_PM
- Allow GD::Graph::Data::read() to read from file handle, instead of
  file
- Added tests for data file reading, and test data
- Release version 1.40

24 Feb 2003

- How come I never noticed this before? Right axis was disappearing
  when r_margin was zero.

22 Feb 2003

- Added patch by Ben Tilly from RT ticket 203 (manually, and much too
late) to fix problems with picking decent values for axes when
two_axes set to true. Added sample 57

20 Feb 2003

- Removed cetus font, because of unknown copyright status.
- Release 1.39 (skip 1.38, internal release)

11 Feb 2003, continued after 1.37 release

- Fixed version numbering
- Added limited, preliminary get_feature_coordinates support.

11 Feb 2003

- Fixed =head1 in GD/Graph/FAQ.pod
- release 1.37

10 Feb 2003

- Added some tests, mainly to make the CPAN testers happy :) The best
way to test is still to use the samples.

- Preparation for 1.36

Jan 2003

- Made detection of output formats more robust. Newer GDs break on
  simply testing with UNIVERSAL::can.
- Added some documentation on error handling.

2 Jun 2002 - 21 Jun 2002

- Fixed various bugs:
  - Area charts don't allow undefined variables, die on hotspot code
  - allow "0.00" to be equal to 0 when determining min and max values
    for axes
  - fixed shadows for cumulative bars

- Preparation for release 1.35

9 Jun 2002

- I just realised this file is severely out of date. I'll only keep
track of the really big changes here, since I really can't remember
what I've fixed and changed sine 1.33, and it's really too much work
to go through all CVS comments.
- Added hbars.pm, and put most of the framework in place to allow the
other charts to be plotted rotated as well.
- preparation of release 1.34

1db4d5a465 LATEST CHANGES BETWEEN 2.1.5 and 2.1.4
I. IMPORTANT BUG FIXES
    - Parsing the /CIDFontName field now removes the leading slash to
be in sync with other font drivers.
    - gzip support was buggy. Some fonts could not be read.
    - Fonts which have nested subglyphs more than one level deep no
      longer cause a segfault.
    - Creation of synthetic cmaps for fonts in CFF format was broken
      partially.
    - Numeric font dictionary entries for synthetic fonts are no longer
      overwritten.
    - The font matrix wasn't applied to the advance width for Type1, CID,
and CFF fonts. This caused problem when loading certain synthetic
Type 1 fonts like "Helvetica Narrow"
    - The test for the charset registry in BDF and PCF fonts is now
      case-insensitive.
    - FT_Vector_Rotate rotating sometimes returned strange values due to
      rounding errors.
    - The PCF driver now returns the correct number of glyphs (including
an artificial `notdef' glyph at index 0).
    - FreeType now supports buggy CMaps which are contained in many CJK
      fonts from Dynalab.
    - Opening an invalid font on a Mac caused a segfault due to
      double-freeing memory.
    - BDF fonts with more than 32768 glyphs weren't supported properly.

  II. IMPORTANT CHANGES
    - Accessing bitmap font formats has been synchronized. To do that
the FT_Bitmap_Size structure has been extended to contain new
      fields `size', `x_ppem', and `y_ppem'.
    - The FNT driver now returns multiple faces, not multiple strikes.
    - The `psnames' module has been updated to the Adobe Glyph List
      version 2.0.
    - The `psnames' module now understands `uXXXX[X[X]]' glyph names.
    - The algorithm for guessing the font style has been improved.
    - For fonts in sfnt format, root->height is no longer increased if
the line gap is zero. There exist fonts (containing e.g. form
drawing characters) which intentionally have a zero line gap value.
    - ft_glyph_bbox_xxx flags are now deprecated in favour of
      FT_GLYPH_BBOX_XXX.
    - ft_module_xxx flags are now deprecated in favour of FT_MODULE_XXX.
    - FT_ENCODING_MS_{SJIS,GB2312,BIG5,WANSUNG,JOHAB} are now deprecated
in favour of FT_ENCODING_{SJIS,GB2312,GIB5,WANSONG,JOHAB} -- those
encodings are not specific to Microsoft.

  III. MISCELLANEOUS
    - The autohinter has been further improved; for example, `m' glyphs
      now retain its vertical symmetry.
    - Partial support of Mac fonts on non-Mac platforms.
    - `make refdoc' (after first `make') builds the HTML documentation.
      You need Python for this.
    - The make build system should now work more reliably on DOS-like
      platforms.
    - Support for EMX gcc and Watson C/C++ compilers on MS-DOS has been
      added.
    - Better VMS build support.
    - Support for the pkg-config package by providing a `freetype.pc'
      file.
    - New configure option --with-old-mac-fonts for Darwin.
    - Some source files have been renamed (mainly to fit into the 8.3
      naming scheme).

49ca5eafee Update to 2.3.14. Closes PR pkg/22667 by rtr@. Changes since 2.3.11:
2003-08-08 Alexander Larsson <alexl@redhat.com>

	* configure.in: 2.3.14

Fri Jul 25 12:29:35 2003 George Lebl <jirka@5z.com>

	* art_render_gradient.c (art_render_gradient_linear_render_8)
	  (art_render_gradient_linear_render) (art_render_gradient_linear)
	  (art_render_gradient_radial_render) (art_render_gradient_radial):
Redo the checks where float was compared by == or != to using
the EPSILON define. Also copy the ArtGradientLinear and
ArtGradientRadial into the source structure, pretending that
these are constants that will never change or be freed by
the caller is utterly evil and in fact for librsvg it is
not constant. This fixes some more very random crashes
when using librsvg with libart (which seems to be the
only usage of the gradient stuff)

Fri Jul 18 12:57:36 2003 George Lebl <jirka@5z.com>

	* art_render_gradient.c: Fix more comparison-of-doubles by == bugs,
this code is uber ugly. Should fix the fairly random crashes
	  on asserts I've been having.

2003-07-11 Michael Meeks <michael@ximian.com>

	* Version 2.3.13

2003-07-11 Federico Mena Quintero <federico@ximian.com>

	* art_svp_ops.c (art_svp_minus): impl.

Tue Jul 08 01:15:02 2003 George Lebl <jirka@5z.com>

	* art_render_gradient.c: fix comment as pointed out by alex

Tue Jul 08 01:13:48 2003 George Lebl <jirka@5z.com>

	* art_render_gradient.c (art_render_gradient_linear_render_8):
when we wish to find the current segment and we go beyond the
last stop due to float fun, use the last segment as that's
really what we want. Avoids a very abrupt assert death.

2003-05-05 Alexander Larsson <alexl@redhat.com>

	* configure.in:
	Bump to 2.3.12

2003-04-24 Alexander Larsson <alexl@redhat.com>

	* art_uta_vpath.c (art_uta_from_vpath):
Don't silently stomp on memory on bad vpaths.

2003-04-11 Alexander Larsson <alexl@redhat.com>

	* art_svp_vpath_stroke.c (render_seg):
Handle cases when dmr2 is very small better.

2003-04-10 Alexander Larsson <alexl@redhat.com>

	* art_svp_wind.c (x_order_2):
	Handle horizontally aligned segments.

90c1c1709f Update PHP to final 4.3.3
Some highlights of changes since 4.2.3:
* PCRE updated to 4.3, GD to 2.0.15
* improved Apache2 support
* much improved stream & URL wrapper support, output compression support
* added CLI (Command Line Interface) SAPI
* debug_backtrace() backported from ZendEngine2
* faster build system
* huge number of other bug fixes and improvements

* 'pcre', 'xml', and 'session' modules folded back into main package -
'pcre' and 'xml' is required by PEAR, and 'session' is just too essential
  to be separate
* 'gd' module now uses bundled PHP GD library, which is better integrated
* PHP modules use shared distinfo when possible to ease future PHP updates
* ${PREFIX}/bin/php is now CLI version, ${PREFIX}/libexec/cgi-big/php
  remains CGI version

1e1d8355a3 Initial import of camlimages.
CamlImages is an image processing library, which provides

* Basic functions for image processing and loading/saving various image
file formats (hence providing a translation facility from format to
  format),
* An interface with the Caml graphics library allows to display
images in the Graphics module screen and to mix them with Caml
  drawings,
* A freetype interface, integrated into the library:
you can draw texts into images using any truetype fonts.

In addition, the library can handle huge images that cannot be (or can
hardly be) stored into the main memory (the library then automatically
creates swap files and escapes them to reduce the memory usage).

c66ebfc410 update to tgif-4.1.43
added features/bug fixes.

1) Fix <Meta> key problem with Mac OS X (Darwin). The Apple Command Key
is mapped to Mod2Mask by default. This will be treated as the <Meta>
    (or <Alt>) key in tgif.
2) Fix a bug with importing an EPS file generated by ps2epsi. Thanks to
Ambrose Li <acli@ada.dhs.org> for the patch.
3) Fix tgif to be able to import an EPS file with an 8 bit-per-sample
preview bitmap (such as the ones generated by ps2epsi).
4) Get tgif to work with out-of-the-box xcin on Red Hat Linux. Thanks to
Ambrose Li <acli@ada.dhs.org> for all the help.
5) Add support a new built-in double-byte input method, tgtwb5, to
    support the
input of big5 encoded traditional Chinese characters using a graphical
zhu-yin-fu-hao keypad. This input method is activated by typing
<Cntrl><Space> when a double-byte chinese font is selected.
6) Add chat to tgwb.
7) Support a new commandline option "-sbim xim" to use XIM as the input
method for single-byte fonts. This is useful if the X Keyboard
    Extension
is used in inputing international characters (with dead keys).
Thanks to Daniel Sadoc Menasche <sadoc@land.ufrj.br> for the
    contribution.
8) Add a new X default, Tgif.IgnoreSlideShowOfffsetsInFile, so that the
slideshow offsets stored in a file can be ignored in the slideshow
    mode.
The reason for this is that the offsets mainly depends on the display
and not on the content of the file. The slideshow offsets should
    be set
    using the Tgif.SlideShowWindowOffset X default.
9) Add a new LaTeX equation symbol file "eq4-lyx-ps2epsi.sym" in the
    release
to edit the equation with LyX. Thanks to Ed Gatzke <gatzke@sc.edu>
    for the contribution.
10) Update "ru.po". Thanks to Andrew W. Nosenko for the update.
11) Add -D__EMX__ in Tgif.tmpl-cygwin to fix the problem with calling
    stat()
on pathnames that begins with "//". Thanks to Dr. Ing. Dieter
    Jurzitza
<Dieter.Jurzitza@t-online.de> for pointing out the problem.
12) Add support for importing tgif files with the import_file() internal
    command.
13) Add the following new internal commands:

        shuffle_obj_to_bottom(<obj_name>)
        set_file_unsavable()

6a14c187de Update to 0.9.11.
* Hebrew translation!
  * Right-to-left language support (for Hebrew, for example).
  * Updated Korean translations.
  * UTF-8 support in the Text Tool!
  * Added 'The Gimp' to docs/PNG.txt
  * Lithuanian translation.
  * Fixed bug that would cause some translated stamp sounds to not load.
  * Added Dutch translation of (older version of) HTML documentation.
  * Updated Polish translations.
  * Added Polish version of manpage.
  * Fixed a few typos in the manpage.
  * Fixed UTF-8 word-wrapping bug when there were no spaces
  * When a locale requiring its own font can't be used because the font
is missing, Tux Paint STILL didn't work right. Fixed. (Set $LC_ALL=C)
  * Added a set of square brushes (similar to the various round ones).
  * Added "--nostamps" option to disable stamp tool.
(When it's not needed, they just take time to load, and RAM to store.)
  * Added missing "--nosysconfig" to "--help" usage output.
  * Increased MAX_FILES from 256 to 2048. Users with more than 128 images
saved were unable to load the newest images! (Hopefully 1024 saved
    files is sufficient.)
  * Thumbnails now saved to a ".thumbs" subdirectory under "saved".
(Old thumbnails will still be loaded, if found. Currently, the old
thumbnails will still be saved in the old location, not under .thumbs)
  * Updated tuxpaint-import to create .thumbs subdirectory, and put new
    thumbnails there.
  * "Thick" and "Thin" Magic Tools made 'stronger.'

Default Mesa Version should be 3.4.2, so that people who don't care and have
GL in XF don't need to build the whole thing. If MESA_REQD is set to 5.0.1

If libGL.so.5 is found to be present on the system, force MESA_REQD to be

26778549be Update to version 1.1.2.
This version is based on PLplot-5.2.1, which is a large step forward
compared to PLplot-5.0.4 that yPlot was based on before. For example,
the egregious rendering bugs in example 8 (doc/x08.i) are now long
gone, and the revised doc/x08.i and doc/x11.i show off some new
contouring functionality that is now available with PLplot 3D
plotting. The doc/x??.i examples from yPlot produce identical results
to the corresponding C examples from PLplot which is an excellent test
of the yPlot interface to PLplot. Note the yPlot API changes and
additions in the CHANGES file.

c9cfc1c60d Update to version 2.12.5.
This only lists new features, there are many bugfixes.

* Apply a patch provided Kawamura Masao, relating to (a) errors in
the documentation of file locations and (b) a programming error
hidden behind an unset precompiler flag.
* Add `sed' RPN operator, to work on strings
* Add `skewness' and `kurtosis' RPN operators, to work on columns
* In the documentation, change the names of some variables to be
clearer: `ll_x' is now written `xleft', etc.
* Add RPN binary operators `and', `or' for logical operations,
  along with negation operator `not'
* Add `draw arc' command
* Add `set x axis labels' and `set y axis labels' commands.
* Permit specification of `pt' units for `draw label', `draw box',
`draw symbol at', and `draw line from'.
* Add `set clip to curve' command. _Caution:_
this needs extension, and may have a bug if called twice in
succession [but is this with an intervening `set clip off']
* Add `group' and `end group' commands, in preparation for SVG
output. So far these commands do nothing, and are basically just a
signal that users should not create commands with these names
since Gri will need them soon.
* Add `..xinc..' and `..yinc..' builtin variables.
* Make the `open' command accept URLs as filenames.

105ee220ed Update "ImageMagick" and "p5-PerlMagick" packages to version 5.5.7.9.
Changes since version 5.5.6:
- File descriptor leak prevented temporary disk pixel cache from being
  removed under Windows.
- Color profile patches provided by (dge at softec.st).
- West/East geometry was computed with image width rather than height.
- The MNG encoder failed to set the JNG bit in the simplicity profile.
- The MNG encoder failed to write FRAM chunks when all images were JNG.
- The JNG encoder wrote the wrong alpha_sample_depth for opaque images.
- Fixed JPEG EXIF problem.
- Added -thumbnail as an option to the utilities.
- No TIFF preview was written on EPT write (patch provided by
  Lars Ruben Skyum).
- NegateImage() now negates the K channel of a CMYK image (patch provided
  by Lars Ruben Skyum).
- Parameter 'elevation' misspeclled for PerlMagick Shape() method.
- A number of minor leak/unitialzed memory problems fixed.
- Allocate free nodes from the heap in QuantizeImage().
- Magick-config --version returned gibberish.
- Adopted Bob Friesenhahn's patterns-- use as filename pattern:checkboard,
  pattern:bricks, etc.
- We cannot reliably auto rotate PDF files so this feature was removed.
- The conjure program did not correctly handle the gravity attribute.
- The persistent cache reference count was not properly incremented.
- Added $image->Describe() method to PerlMagick to interface to the
  DescribeImage() C API method.
- Added support for the EXIF Tag Parsing Library. Currently we simply
display the tags when calling DescribeImage(). In the near future
there will be support for modifying or adding tags.
- Added Bob Friesenhahn's updated Windows installation instructions.
- Interfaced the drawing routines with the new MagickWand API.
MagickWand will be the primary public C interface to ImageMagick in
  the near future.
- magick/effect.c: RandomChannelThresholdImage was not handling
  PseudoColor, non-gray images correctly.
- png.c would not compile with libpng versions older than libpng-0.95,
due to bugs introduced in ImageMagick version 5.5.2.
- Implemented -random-threshold and -ordered-dither options.
- The locale messaging system now uses a hash for fast lookup.
- Updated libtool to the new released version, 1.5.
- Fixed bug with decoding grayscale PNG images and JNG alpha channel
  at Q:32.
- Now recognize 32-bit hex color specifications, patches provided by
  Bob Friesenhahn.
- Started API wrappers based on Bob Friesenhahn's method suggestions.
- Text annotations that started with '\n' were not rendered correctly.
- Removed artifacts from images rotated with a small number of degrees.
- Minor bug fix in the ParseGeometry() method.
- Modified the non-public inline AlphaComposite() to use a PixelPacket
pointer; previously it returned a PixelPacket structure.
- You can now specify an image geometry as an image file (e.g. -geometry
  image.jpg).
- Use new temporary file manager for JNG components.
- Added support for 12-bit TIFF images.
- Added improved locale message subsystem (contributed by Kyle Shorter).
- Removed a bias from SampleImage() and DrawAffineImage() (bug report
  by Glenn Randers-Pehrson).
- PerlMagick now recognizes percent values for fuzz or opacity.
- Not enough memory allocated for reading PCX (bug report by Trevor
  Willis).
- There were artifacts when using the Bessel function for resizing
  (bug report by Bob Friesenhahn).
- Added -resample to convert to change the resolution of an image.
- Added a temporary file manager that prevents race conditions and
removes any remaining files on exit.
- Prepped ImageMagick to work with Visual C++ 7.0 under Windows.
The Windows configure patches came from William Radcliffe.
- The refresh of the display image window no longer lags when the
  magnify window overlay it.
- Numerous code clean-up and minor speed ups based on problem areas
  identified in the Graphics-Magick ChangeLog.

d81345ea20 part two (of two) of the fix for pkg/21891: new package p5-Gdk-Pixbuf:
The Gtk module allows Perl access to the Gtk+ graphical user interface
library. You can find more information about Gtk+ on http://www.gtk.org.
The Perl binding tries to follow the C interface as much as possible,
providing at the same time a fully object-oriented interface and
Perl-style calling conventions.

This is the Gtk::Gdk::Pixbuf extention of the Gtk module.

7a6ca58420 Updated to version 1.37.
Changes:

- DESCR has 80 culumns
- whitespace

1.37:
=====
- Fix bug where combining `--rotate-X' and `-O' options would cause a
segmentation fault. Reported by Dan Lasley <Dan_Lasley@hilton.com>.
- Rearrange source tree.

1.36:
=====
* Fix subscript-out-of-range error in main.c reported by Andrea Suatoni.

1.35:
=====
- Fixed bug where `--crop' could cause a segmentation fault, present since
1.32 or 1.33. Reported by Tom Schumm <phong@phong.org>.

1.34:
=====
- Fixed bug where combining `--crop' and `-O' options could corrupt output.
  Reported by Tom Schumm <phong@phong.org>.

1.33:
=====
- Be more careful about time while animating. In particular, prepare frames
before they are needed, so that they can be displayed exactly when
required. Problem reported by Walter Harms <WHarms@bfs.de>.
- More warning fixes.

1.32:
=====
- Add `--multifile' option handling concatenated GIF files. This is useful
for scripts. For example, `gifsicle --multifile -' will merge all GIF
files written to its standard input into a single animation.
- More fixes for spurious background warnings.

1.31:
=====
- Changed behavior of `--crop X,Y+WIDTHxHEIGHT' option when WIDTH or HEIGHT
is negative. Previously, zero or negative WIDTH and HEIGHT referred to
the image's entire width or height. Thus, the option `--crop 10,0+0x0'
would always lead to an error, because the crop left position (10) plus
the crop width (the image width) was 10 pixels beyond the image edge. The
new behavior measures zero or negative WIDTH and HEIGHT relative to the
  image's bottom-right corner.
- Changed background behavior. Hopefully the only user-visible effect will
  be fewer spurious warnings.
- Fixed a bug that could corrupt output when optimizing images with `-O2'
that had more than 256 colors.

1.30:
=====
- Fixed bug in ungif code: Writing a large ungif could corrupt memory,
leading eventually to bad output. This bug has been present since
Gifsicle could write ungifs! Bad files and assistance provided by Jeff
  Brown <jabrown@ipn.caida.org>.

XXX: by my calculations, the number of samples in seek should be multiplied
by the sample size to get number of bytes to read, but this results in mencoder

69ef771841 Update to 2.1.4, provided by Christopher Richards in PR 21191.
Extract of changes:
    - a fix in the Gzip stream reader, it couldn't read certain .gz files
properly due to a small typo. In certain cases, FreeType could also
loop endlessly when trying to load tiny gzipped files.
    - certain fonts couldn't be loaded by 2.1.3 because they lacked a
Unicode charmap (e.g. SYMBOL.TTF). FreeType erroneously rejected
      them.
    - the CFF loader was modified to accept fonts which only
contain a subset of their reference charset. This prevented the
      correct use of PDF-embedded fonts.
    - the logic to detect Unicode charmaps has been modified. this is required
to support fonts which include both 16-bit and 32-bit charmaps (like
very recent asian ones) using the new 10 and 12 SFNT formats.
    - the TrueType loader now limits the depth of composite glyphs. This is
necessary to prevent broken fonts to break the engine by blowing the
      stack with recursive glyph definitions.
    - the CMap cache is now capable of managing UCS-4 character codes that
are mapped through extended charmaps in recent TrueType/OpenType fonts
    - the cache sub-system now properly manages out-of-memory conditions,
instead of blindly reporting them to the caller. This means that it
will try to empty the cache before restarting its allocations to see
      if that can help.
    - the PFR driver didn't return the list of available embedded bitmaps
      properly.

    - David Chester contributed some enhancements to the auto-hinter that
significantly increase the quality of its output. The Postscript hinter
was also improved in several ways..
    - the FT_RENDER_MODE_LIGHT render mode was implemented
    - a new API, called FT_Get_BDF_Property has been added to FT_BDF_H to
retrieve BDF properties from BDF _and_ PCF font files. THIS IS STILL
EXPERIMENTAL, since it hasn't been properly tested yet.
    - a Windows FNT specific API has been added, mostly to access font
headers. This is used by Wine
    - TrueType tables without a "hmtx" table are now tolerated when an
incremental interface is used. This happens for certain Type42 fonts
      passed from Ghostscript to FreeType.
    - the PFR font driver is now capable of returning the font family and
style names when they're available (instead of the sole "FontID"). This
is performed by parsing an *undocumented* portion of the font file !!

01d3c2e1f9 Import of ogmtools-1.0.1: Ogg Media files manipulation tools.
ogmtools are a set of utilities for Ogg Media files (OGM) manipulation,
written by Moritz Bunkuns.

Ogg is a container format that can contains much more than a simple
Vorbis sound stream: notably, you can have a video stream, subtitles,
etc.

ogmtools are not meant to encode or decode anything, but will be used
complementary to mplayer/mencoder or any other media encoding utility.
ogmmerge will produce an OGM file from separated components, like an
audio track and a video track, and ogmdemux will have the inverse
behaviour. ogmsplit will cut a file into several parts, and ogminfo
will print information about the file. The last tool, dvdxchap is
used in combination with ogmmerge to add some special comments into
the resulting OGM file to provide chaptering with the player that
support it (the OggDS Windows filter takes advantage of that).

7051c4d898 Update cdlabelgen to 2.5.0. Changes include:
cdlablegen:
  * added support for long options
  * added some options to choose different colors for plaque background,
    category, subcategory and text
  * added a man page
  * add /opt/lib/cdlabelgen/ to template search paths
  * added: -M option, to print out envelope for a CD
  * -v <very large number> is no longer an error, instead, all
items are printed on cover, none on the tray card.
  * also added .spec file, from other sources on web, for RPM installs.
    Use:
    rpm -ta cdlabelgen-n.n.n.tgz
    to create RPM [not tested]
  * -v option to support splitting items array into items for cover,
    and items for tray
  * word wrap could result in 0 items, now ensures that #items >= 1
  * fixed bug where -f <file> containing one item only was being skipped;
also added code to handle all kinds of end-of-line delimiters in the
items file - each line is considered to be one item, so need to
handle all kinds of EOLN characters.
  * -w word wrap was not working, now should work better in all cases
  * added -p option, pass to template.ps option to clip items
instead of auto_reducing them to fit to a column
  * allow skipping either -c or -s option (or both)
  * minor change to insert \n in @items - keeps PostScript DSC
compliant (as far as possible!) - line length should be < 255 chars
done to keep warning messages away when using GSview

  template.ps:
  * added support for plaque background color, category text color,
subcategory text color and text color
  * increased normal cd case insert dimensions very slightly for better
    fit
  * removed the ISOLatin1 recoding of fonts; added %%BeginProlog DSC
comment - this allows piping output through the ogonkify program
which can recode in a number of encodings. see man page for more
    information.
  * fill2 background should fill two endcaps only, do not fill the extreme
right-hand tongue-cap, since the tongue-cap does not exist in normal
    cd inserts
  * added optional image translate arguments for -S and -T to
    offset cover/tray image as required
  * added -y: move entire printout up or down; ex: -y 1.5, for A4 paper size
  * added -l: control width of cover/tray edge lines, 0 skips printing
    edge lines entirely
  * support printing of CD envelopes, merged in envelope template sent
    by Ronald Rael Harvest <number6@cox.net>
  * added variables to control left/right margins for both cover and tray
  * both cover and tray can print list of items, uses two different
    arrays containing the items
  * add "fill2" option to fill image in tray and end-caps too
in addition to just filling the interior of the tray card
  * -s <subban_string> would not print along the spine even when it would fit,
    Rewrote make_endcap function.
  * added larger bottom page offset - hopefully, will work on most
    printers using A4 size (Europe)
  * -p option now actually clips text (instead of just clipping
graphically - used to leave partial letters on the printout)
now full characters at the end of the string are omitted if needed
    to fit the column
  * major change to the font size and number of columns
    computation for list of items
Added option to clip text instead of auto_reducing text to
    fit to column
  * images can be scaled to completely fill cover and tray card - so
they can be used as background images.
  * added support directives {#BI} {#B} {#I}, appearing in input text,
make a line bold-italic, or bold, or italic respectively.
Directives must appear in column 1 of line.
  * bug fix: in n columns output, if number of items was not a multiple

dropper tool, and a new commandline argument to make SVG icons
default without recompiling.

12c7eda41d Update Mesa and friends to version 5.0, using patches provided in PR pkg/19302.
At the same time, move Mesa and friends to LOCALBASE rather than X11BASE, so
that they can be installed regardless of XF version. Introduce MESA_REQD variable
that can be set to 5.0, thus allowing systems with XF4 to indicate that the
provided version is not good enough.

All packages using Mesa, MesaLib, glu or glut will get a PKGREVISION bump
over the next few days.

bebb89b9e0 Update to 0.9.10:
Some more platforms supported, new translations and translation
updates, documentation updates, bug fixes, and

2003.February.22 (0.9.10)
  * UTF-8 stamp descriptions word-wrap around spaces.

  * Support for more HTML escape codes in description files.
    [ Not yet working ]

  * ALT+F4 accepted as alternative to [Escape] (to quit)
by Tux Paint's main loop. Windows wasn't rending a 'Close Window'
event on that key combo, like it should (I think).
    John Popplewell

2003.February.1 (0.9.9)
  * When a locale requiring its own font can't be used because the font
is missing, Tux Paint now CORRECTLY switches back to default
($LANG=C, which for Tux Paint is 'American English')

  * Locale-detection code made more robust. (Check LC_MESSAGES, not LC_ALL)
    TOYAMA Shin-ichi

  * Added support for some useful HTML escape sequences in stamp descriptions
    (e.g., "&acute;" for "á" ("a" with "'" over it))
Append ".esc" to the locale code (e.g., "fr.esc=...") in the ".txt"
    description files.

  * Wrote "docs/ESCAPES.txt", which covers valid escape sequences.

  * Made 800x600 mode available at runtime, rather than just at compile-time
    (available "--800x600" command-line option and "800x600=yes" in conf. file;
overridden by "--640x480" option, or "800x600=no" or "640x480=yes" in conf.)
NOTE: STILL EXPERIMENTAL! 640x480 mode is still default!

  * Fixed 'Magic Tool' selector redraw bug in 800x600 mode.

2003.January.27 (0.9.8)
  * Added some translations to Tux Paint's icon's comment in tuxpaint.desktop.

  * Updated default tuxpaint.conf to mention all of the newest options.

  * Fixed Japanese locale detection.
    TOYAMA Shin-ichi

  * Stamp description translations can be encoded using UTF-8.
Append ".utf8" to the locale code (e.g., "fr.utf8=...")

  * Removed stamp descriptions from Japanese translation file
(src/messages/ja.po). (Will be placed as UTF-8 encoded text in next
    Tux Paint stamps package release.)

2003.January.26 (0.9.7)
  * Fixed translation bugs with some save-related prompts.

  * Polish available as "--lang polski" as well.

2003.January.22 (0.9.6)
  * Save directory can be specified ("--savedir")
    John Popplewell

  * tuxpaint-import now creates the '~/.tuxpaint/saved' directory,
    if it doesn't exist

  * Initial support for arbitrary window sizes. (#define SVGA for 800x600)
    TOYAMA Shin-ichi

  * Added a few new colors, renamed some old ones.
    TOYAMA Shin-ichi

  * Fixed text tool bug when hitting [Enter]/[Return] past bottom of canvas

  * Indonesian available as "--lang bahasa-indonesia" as well.

2003.January.8 (0.9.4)
  * Changed sparkles so they look less like blobs.
(Thanks to Dave Nelson for the suggestion.)

  * Added a mode that uses XORs ("rubber-band lines") much less: --nooutlines
It should help for very slow machines and using Tux Paint remotely
    over a networked X display.

  * The 'Circle' shape no longer switches into rotation mode
(since it never affected the shape!)

2003.January.6 (0.9.3)
  * Screen now refreshes when switching back to fullscreen Tux Paint.
    John Popplewell

  * FAQ categorized

2002.December.10 (0.9.2)
  * Added initial attempt at keyboard control support
    (for mouseless environments): "--keyboard"

  * UTF-8 support working.

2002.November.16 (0.9.1)
  * Updated man page.

  * Added some missing "gettext_noop()" wrappers to some strings.

  * Stamp sound effects played when clicked, even if stamp is already selected.

  * Added more translated documentation directories, with dummy docs.

2002.November.12 (0.9.0)
  * Fixed endian issue which caused stamp icons and saved-file thumbnails to
have messed up colors! (Tested on Mac laptop running Mac OS X.)

  * Added FAQ item regarding fullscreen not being in 640x480 under Linux.
(Partially based on libSDL's Linux FAQ:
    http://www.libsdl.org/faq.php?action=listentries&category=3#34 )

  * Added notice about downloading libraries and '-dev' packages under
    compiling/Linux section of INSTALL.txt.

  * Rearranged INSTALL.txt some.

  * Converted titlescreen image from JPEG to PNG
(so libJPEG would no longer be required).

  * Updated PNG software list (PNG.txt)

  * Added version number and release date to title screen.

  * Fixed strange undo/redo access bug (redo available after open).

  * Uses "Library/Preferences/tuxpaint" instead of hidden ".tuxpaint"
    directory under Mac OS X.
    Darrell Walisser

2002.November.3
  * HTML documentation cleaned up (no warnings or errors from HTML Tidy!)

  * Supports locale-specific fonts for languages that need Unicode.
e.g., Korean will use "ko.ttf", if found, for translated strings.

4a72af3c14 Update to 3.7.3, from Jim Bernard in PR 19663.
Changes:
3.7.3

  inverse error function
* Windows specific fixes, most visibly changing the 'pause' command
to avoid cpu hogging, and updated build procedures
* Improved metapost driver
* Make Linux driver work with devfs
* Numerous bugfixes backported from development version, see ChangeLog
* A large number of documentation misprints have been fixed

3.7.2

removes the gamma, inverse normal, and inverse error
function from platforms that have no native
  implementation.
* Support for BeOS
* New terminal drivers: emf (Enhanced Metafile Format),
epslatex, ggi (General Graphics Interface), pdf, svg
 (W3C Scalable Vector Graphics)
* Updated png driver: web-friendly palette, transparent
  images, explicit colour specification

45261b6f61 Update to 1.0.5.
1.0.5 (mar 1st 2003)
Only a small fix for progressive jpeg suspension problem.
This is the long-awaited final release containing the new 'dynamic MNG' feature
and bringing MNG compliance to near 100%!
1.0.5-rc3 (jan 20th 2003)
Minor bug-fixes and finalizing the accepted proposal (by official vote) for
the TERM/frame_delay changes on mng-list (nov-dec/2002).
1.0.5-rc2 (dec 9th 2002)
This contains fixes for a few minor details reported by the loyal testers.
It fixes some issues with the goframe/golayer/gotime processing and related
stuff. And it adds a way to disable playback-caching from within the MNG,
which is very useful for streaming-MNG encoders (such as gserver!).
1.0.5-rc1 (nov 1st 2002)
This fixes a few small problems and brings the TERM/MEND processing, with
respect to interframe_delay as per the current discussion on MNG-list,
up-to-date with the latest proposal.
1.0.5-b3 (oct 15th 2002)
Fairly quick after beta2, since that introduced a couple of unfortunate
booboo's and wasn't very workable. It also changes the standard configure
script to build a standard shared object similar to what I intended.
1.0.5-b2 (oct 9th 2002)
Second beta for next 1.0.5 release. This addresses some minor problems
detected during testing. It adds the proposed change to the MNG spec as
discussed on the "mng-list" recently; eg. Adam's option 4.
And it adds a little function to check at run-time if the lib is a beta or not.
1.0.5-b1 (sep 24th 2002)
First beta of a large maintenance release. This completes support of the MNG
specification to nearly 100% (PAST, PROM, delta-images, BACK image+tile).
It adds "dynamic" MNG and a few other neat routines as well as fixes several
bugs reported through SourceForge or to me directly.

4bc7477474 Update to 1.9
Package changes:
- Be a specific/verbose about dependencies' includes and libraries
  directories
- Require Xaw type "standard"
- Install complete html documentation
- Add libiconv dependency
- Remove libgd documentation
- Add upcoming libcurl support in comments

Changes since version 1.8.10:
January 23, 2003
	- declare this version 1.9
(3-level version numbering has been dropped now
that we have nightly snapshot builds with their
		own extended numbering.)
	- general
	    - config.h is no longer installed. config.h is generated by
./configure for the current build only. It may not be
		applicable for derivative builds.
	    - improve ICONV configure tests
	    - lots of janitor-work to clean up warning messages from -Wall
	    - use @OBJEXT@ in Makefile.am so that .obj is used under cygwin
	    - fixes for Solaris builds
	    - use libpng-config if available
	    - reduce long build times due to touching ast_common.h too often
	    - improve dependency tracking. "make -j8" now works with distcc
	    - autogen.sh fixes to work on RH7.3, RH8.0, and Solaris.
	    - eliminate use of suffix rules which confused some makes.
	    - DOT language allows '+' for concatenation of quoted strings
	- dot, neato, twopi
	    - fix bugs 209, 210, 214, 216, 217, 222, 224, 225, 229,
			230, 233, 236, 237
	    - update gd into alignment with gd-2.0.9
	    - change to make libagraph output compatible with libgraph input
	    - add shapes: septagon, pentagon, a_ediamond, rect, rectangle
	    - introduce "ND_...", "ED_...", "GD_...", node/edge/graph-data
accessor macros in partial preparation for use of
		libagraph in dot.
	    - add libdotneato.so, dotneato.h, dotneato-config
to aid use of dot libraries by user apps based
on installed graphviz-devel rpm and without access
		to graphviz sources.
	    - new xdot output format providing detailed drawing instructions
	    - new -y command line flag, inverts y coordinates
	    - support multple -T when -o given, as in:
cat xxx.dot | dot -Tpng -Tcmap -o xxx
which produces xxx.png and xxx.cmap from a single
layout computation. Intended for use in CGI programs.
	- agraph
	    - correct callback ordering for deletions
	- tools
	    - add gxl2dot and dot2gxl for GXL language conversions
	    - gvui now provides *map output
	- tcldot, tcldgr, tcldgl
	    - improve tcl8.4 support
	    - extend search path for tcl.h to include /usr/local/include/tcl8.4/
in support of BSD install conventions.
	- dynagraph
	    - many fixes
	    - change to not build dynagraph by default (use --with-dynagraph)
	- docs
	    - dotguide updates

eba9540c55 Updated to version 1.2.5.
Changes:

- Fix http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=169911
- Start of IPC code, not used yet.
- Experimental speedup for caption editing. Caches the bg pixmap for the
image (which doesn't change when you're just editing a caption) so only
the overlay needs to be re-rendered on each change to the caption.
Definitely makes a difference when editing captions on a large,
  fullscreen image.
- Tweak event handling - don't nuke queued keyevents when we're accepting
  input for caption entry.
- Fixed wrapping for long lines with no spaces
- Caption editing, also requested by David Blackman <david@whizziwig.com>
Hit 'c', edit caption, enter to confirm the changes or Escape to revert.
(Only when --captions-path has been specified).
- Spotted a couple of minor bugs as I went through stuff, fixed those two.
- New option --captions-path. Specify a path (relative to each image) to
a directory with captions in and feh will overlay them on the image. It
even does text wrapping and centering!
Example, run feh --captions-path captions testimages for image
testimages/donna1.jpg, feh will look for a caption in
  testimages/captions/donna1.jpg.txt

9434a10222 Initial import of Film Gimp 0.15 as graphics/filmgimp.
Film Gimp is an image retouching and painting tool with features similar to
GIMP and Adobe Photoshop, and is recognized as a tool for motion picture
artists; however, anyone who wants to retouch or paint images can use Film
Gimp. The primary feature of Film Gimp is its vast dynamic range: 16-bits
per channel (64-bit RGBA). The extended dynamic range of Film Gimp appeals
not just to 35mm cinematographers, but to 35mm still photographers as well.
Still photographers can think of Film Gimp as having many more F-stops of
range, of being capable of capturing much more subtle nuances of color in
a vast blue sky for instance. Film Gimp handles 8-bit, 16-bit linear, and
16-bit float images.

5d3655d1ef The ${CFLAGS} fix-up in Makefile.cflags must come after everything, even
bsd.pkg.mk, to completely master all CFLAGS settings. This fixes the build
in the MPLAYER_ENABLE_RUNTIME_CPU_DETECTION=NO case (PR pkg/19946).

This isn't the only way this package wantonly disregards buildlink's rule.
In any case, binary packages are still problematic, even with the runtime
detection, as one of the dependencies (audio/faad2) may not be distributed
as a binary.

68c35127cc Update to 1.2.4, from Juan RP in PR 19771:
* Experimental speedup for caption editing. Caches the bg pixmap for the
image (which doesn't change when you're just editing a caption) so only
the overlay needs to be re-rendered on each change to the caption.
Definitely makes a difference when editing captions on a large, fullscreen
    image.
* Tweak event handling - don't nuke queued keyevents when we're accepting
    input for caption entry.
* Fixed wrapping for long lines with no spaces
* Caption editing, also requested by David Blackman <david@whizziwig.com>
Hit 'c', edit caption, enter to confirm the changes or Escape to revert.
(Only when --captions-path has been specified).
* Spotted a couple of minor bugs as I went through stuff, fixed those two.
* New option --captions-path. Specify a path (relative to each image) to a
directory with captions in and feh will overlay them on the image. It even
    does text wrapping and centering!
Example, run feh --captions-path captions testimages
for image testimages/donna1.jpg, feh will look for a caption in
    testimages/captions/donna1.jpg.txt
* Fixed bug - segv when last image in slideshow is deleted.

2c821434df Update xfig to 3.2.4. Provided in PR pkg/19660 by Jim Bernard
<jbernard@mines.edu>. Changes include tons of bugfixes plus the following
new features:

o "Front" and "Back" labels in depth manager to show relative
	  positioning of depths on drawing.
o The mu (micro) character is now entered using "Compose | u"
          instead of "Compose / u"
o If you wish to place a library object at the position it was
originally created, e.g. for laser printer labels, hold down the
Shift key and press mouse button 3 (`place at orign posn')
o New URL for chemtool, a chemical structure editor:
	  http://ruby.chemie.uni-freiburg.de/~martin/chemtool/chemtool.html
o The minimum and maximum depth of objects are shown in the edit
          panel for compound objects
o EMF (Enhanced Metafile) export driver (TransFig/fig2dev)
o SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) beta driver
o The xfig documentation is nearly entirely GIF-free (TM).
o Xfig reference manual now available in PDF besides html.
	o Dimension lines
o New Xfig logo courtesy of Marc-Aurele Darche.
o Can now paste text in text mode using Shift+Middle-mouse-button
in addition to F20 and Sun's Paste key (F18).
o If xfig is compiled with #define WHEELMOUSE uncommented in the
Imakefile, the wheel may be used for several things
o New grid/positioning option for inches mode
o Background (-g to fig2dev) option for tk export honored now.
	o New command-line argument -correct_font_size
o Added "Stop" button to stop loading library.
o Much more efficient when copying large imported pictures
o When changing an attribute of an imported picture that doesn't
change the picture itself (e.g. depth), the pixmap is not
regenerated, therefore saving time. The same is true when
          copying a picture.
	o New X resource Fig.ghostscript and command-line argument
-ghostscript by which you can tell xfig what your ghostscript
is called (e.g. "gs" or "gswin32").
o Can now add ASCII (EPSI) preview to EPS export. See export panel.
o Can now add monochrome or color TIFF preview to EPS export.
o Translations of LATEX.AND.XFIG document into two popular Chinese
	  encodings (GB2312 and Big5).
o When text becomes too small to see (e.g. small zoom), xfig will
"Greek" it, meaning it draws a gray line segment for each word
          in the string.
o When resizing canvas to a smaller height, the number of buttons
per row of the mode (side) panel increases so that it doesn't
protrude into the indicator (bottom) panel
o Smarter redraw when turning on depths from the depth manager.
o If the user's pointer (mouse) buttons are switched
xfig will automatically flip the mouse hints messages.
o Picture objects are drawn as filled gray boxes when their layer
          is inactive in gray mode.
o xfig no longer requires fonts that are named "-adobe-..."
o Updating the attribute panel from a compound object will retrieve
(only) the smallest depth from the compound.
o When scaling an object, the line thickness is no longer scaled
          with it
o New measuring modes: angle, length, area and tangent.
o New feature to add tangents and normal lines to curves.
	o Splash screen on startup.
	o New command-line option -grid_color
o New option to print grid when exporting or printing
o When drawing an arc by specifying the center point, a circle is
drawn showing the radius of the arc as the user drags the mouse,
then when the first end point is clicked an arc is drawn as the
          mouse is dragged.
o If the Ruler unit is Imperial (in), you may have xfig display
	  measurements using fractions where possible.
o When opening a compound object, if the middle button us used to
open the compound, all other objects on the canvas are kept
          visible.
o When opening a compound object, the "point positioning"
indicator is enabled, allowing you to set the bounds of the
compound according to the indicator when you close the compound.
o Zero-crossing lines on canvas have own command-line parameter
o Smooth factor when exporting to bitmap format is now a pull-down
menu with: No smoothing, Some smoothing, More smoothing.
o Three-D borders for buttons, etc reduced from 2 to 1 pixel
o Additional JPEG file format (EXIF) added for import.
	o Validation for integer spinners
o When scaling an object, the scale factor is shown in the message.
o New url for pstoedit (mentioned in installation.html).
o When picking points of an object at high zoom, the tolerance has
been reduced to make it easier to pick the correct point.
o When "graying" inactive depths, the inactive objects are drawn
first followed by active objects ensuring visibility of active
          objects.
o xfig now draws "grayed out" picture objects (inactive depth) as
a gray box with the filename only.
o Line style in edit panel now shows graphic of style instead of
	  textual description.
o Cap style in edit panel was inadvertantly left off open-splines.
o Popup dialog to edit behavior of spline point now pops up near
          the point being edited.
o When cancelling drawing a picture object from the popup editor,
the empty object is removed rather than showing a <empty>
o Pressing Return or Escape in popup message window will dismiss it
o In picture browser popup, double clicking or clicking and
pressing Return will apply the selected picture AND close the
          browser.
o New popup query if updating the depth in a compound object would
result in any depth exceeding the maximum.
o More consistent placement of Cancel/Ok/Set etc. buttons
o More meaningful message "Cut buffer is empty"
o New MetaPost driver for TransFig 3.2.4 supported.
o New option for binary CGM export (must have TransFig 3.2.4 too).
o Pressing escape in a popup dialog will dismiss it.
	o Zoom/Unzoom (Shift-Z/z) changes zoom by a factor of 1.5
o Exporting to JPEG doesn't require compiling with USE_JPEG
o Minimum and maximum depths of objects in a compound are
          displayed in popup edit panel.
o Named styles where user can save attributes that are often used
          for quick access.

NEW LIBRARIES and Examples:

o Poster advertizing German version of "Little Shop of Horrors" in
	  Libraries/Examples/poster.fig. From Kai-Martin Knaak
o Three new Examples from Carlo Kopp
o Many new country flags in the Libraries/Flags directory.
o New flags of Bosnia and Slovenia with vector coat of arms in
	  Libraries/Flags directory from Roman Maurer
o New maps of Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina
          and Slovenia (Libraries/Maps/Europe)
o New maps of Russia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan,
          Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan (Libraries/Maps/Asia)
o New Avery label templates in Libraries/Labels directory,
including a CD label, Avery_5931, done by William Chimiak.

Libraries/Labels directory, done by Len Hickey.
o New computers and printers in Libraries/Computers library
	o New network library devices
o New DSP component library from Jakub Stastny (stastnj1@volny.cz)
o Standard welding bevels library from Erik Engh
o Canadian map from Seymour Green
